How to Install jackmeter software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

jackmeter software package provides a basic command line meter for the JACK audio system, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install jackmeter

jackmeter is installed in your system.

Make ensure the jackmeter package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jackmeter *

You will get with jackmeter package name, version, architecture and description in a table
